DRONE LIGHT SHOW DESIGN AND ANIMATION

Join our exciting Drone Light Show Design and Animation program. This program introduces students to designing and executing drone light shows. Participants learn programming techniques for drone choreography and use drones to create impressive aerial displays students will gain skills in designing and programming drone formations, and develop creative and technical skills through light show orchestration.

What is it?

The Drone Light Show Design & Animation Program is an innovative STEAM initiative that introduces students to the exciting world of aerial animation, programming, and creative storytelling using drones. This hands-on, project-based program blends technical education with the arts, empowering students to design, program, and execute their own choreographed drone light show.

Using cutting-edge simulation and real-time drone technology, students will explore the principles of flight, 3D spatial awareness, basic programming, and animation techniques—all while working collaboratively to bring their creative visions to life in a live drone light show finale.

Who is it for?

This program is perfect for curious, tech-savvy students with a passion for STEAM, a love for hands-on learning, and an eagerness to explore the exciting world of drone technology and innovation.

Students will utilize drones and block coding to delve into real-world applications, such as drone swarms, mastering collaborative tasks adeptly through hands-on experience.

Highlight Includes:

Drone flight and Simulation

Using flight simulators participants will practice piloting skills in a safe, virtual environment before transitioning to real-world drone operations.

 

LED color theory and Effects

Participants will learn visual storytelling using movement and light, audio syncing, and thematic design.

 

Animation design and Sequencing

Students will use animation software to plan and simulate a drone light show and apply basic programming concepts to control drone movement and LED effects.

 

Coding with Drones

Students will utilize drones and block coding to delve into real-world applications, such as drone swarms, mastering collaborative tasks adeptly through hands-on experience.
