YOUTH DRONE CAMP - CAREER TECHNICAL EDUCATION

What is it?
School Boards, Non-Profit Organizations, and Companies are booking weekend camps for up to 48, 72 or 96 students per camp! This program is designed to introduce students to the incredible opportunities within the current and future drone industry. Students will learn about drone safety, regulations and communications, piloting skills, drone racing, drone soccer, photography and videography, coding through drones, and many other highly engaging, and STEM-oriented learning activities.
Who is it for?
This program is available as 2-day, 3-day, or 4-day sessions for up to 96 students per program. Suitable for students from grade 3 to grade 12. This program is perfect for curious, tech-savvy students with a passion for STEM, a love for hands-on learning, and an eagerness to explore the exciting world of drone technology and innovation.
Highlight Includes:
Extensive Piloting Skills & Drone Racing
After learning basic pilot maneuvers and callouts, students will be able to design and construct their own obstacle course, and take turns racing through it. Everyone will have the chance to participate in an exciting “Engineering Challenge,” simulating real- world applications of drone technology.
Photography and Videography
In this course, students will unlock the art of aerial photography and videography through the use of drones. They'll learn about the essentials of composition, angles, lighting, and motion, gaining practical skills to capture stunning imagery.
Coding with Drones
Students will utilize drones and block coding to delve into real-world applications, such as drone swarms, mastering collaborative tasks adeptly through hands-on experience.
